The Gel.mo-Ulana Project is two fashion desingers fusing their aesthics together. The idea was born when Gelareh and Ulana realised for years that they have always supported eachothers creative journies (during and post uni) and from this, they were inspired by the consistant loving motivation for eachother. The designers know how the modern day fashion world can be so competeitive and ruthless therefore the message they’ve created for the Gel.mo-Ulana project is to spread motivation and encouragement towards your creative loved ones. They want to communicate that fashion (and the create field in general) can be a shared space, not competitive or a cruel one. Another aim from the project is to break the stigma that working in fashion doesn’t have to be so challenging and rigid. Here, the Gelmo-Ulana project brings a playful twist on how modern fashion designers normally work. The project speaks for their appreciation, support and celebratation for eachothers individuality, whilst, also creating a new style by merging them too.

The project is a mixture of objectives, collaborating their ideas together but predominantly focusing on creating Gel.mo-Ulana one-off-unique clothing pieces.
